King’s Highway is our desert diner, and celebrates the ineffable, bohemian spirit of the wide open West. Our seasonal menu is sourced from independent farmers spread across the Coachella Valley and Southern California. We reinvented an old Denny’s restaurant to celebrate its retro style and add fresh, modern updates. During renovations we unearthed a terrazzo floor, sandblasted the flagstone walls and re-covered the booths in saddle leather. We’re open all day, every day. The coffee’s hot and the beer is cold. I can’t recall how many friends I have referred to Larkspur for their French onion soup with short rib, which is/was my favorite thing in the valley. You can’t imagine how sad we were to plan a get together recently, just to hear it was no longer on the menu. The rest of the menu is somewhat small, but we still managed to have a good dinner. The servers are fabulous, the ambiance is beautiful and fun and the music was awesome. Please bring back the soup.. it was delicious and different.

A great Italian restaurant . Menu choices are good including a wide selection of pasta dishes ( choose the paste you like) . Food was excellent and a very reasonable price . Good selection of wines to accompany the good food . Service was excellent . Highly recommend .
