We had the chef’s menu with wine pairing and it was one of the best we had so far in Toronto. If you can, seat by the chef’s counter to have a peak of the backstages. 11/10 recommend!

Great spot for a work lunch! Sheldon our server was great read the room well and knew how to serve us while we had a group business meeting. Pizzas are amazing although heavy if you’re going back to work after. Can never go wrong with the salads and sushi.

This is my second time at this establishment and the second time was a completely different experience. Upon entry the host didn’t ask if we needed coat made us wait to be sat because 2 of them had to go look for a bag for another guest. Then the server wasn’t giving us his best service until parties placed orders and he realized that we weren’t ordering the cheap things on the menu. The judgement was appalling. All parties were dressed up heels and dresses not sure what that was about. The food was average. The drinks were great. And the wait time for the entree was about an hour.

We had not been to Canoe for awhile but it remains a wonderful venue for dining in Toronto, combining delicious menu items, outstanding service and great views. Given the prices, it is more of a special.occassion or business spot but we felt totally satisfied with our evening. We will return.
