The current dining room experience is an 8-course tasting menu honoring the Mid-Atlantic's bounty. We offer an additional 3-course experience at our bar and bar area tables. Walk-in guests are welcome to enjoy the bar area as well.The Dabney has been awarded one Michelin star every year since 2017, James Beard Foundation Best Chef Mid-Atlantic for Chef Jeremiah Langhorne in 2018, and Washingtonian Magazine's #1 restaurant in 2023. At this time we are unable to accommodate severe allium and dairy allergies as well as vegan and vegetarian diets.

We went to celebrate my cousin's birthday and our waitress, Angie (I think that was her name) was awesome. She greeted us well, knew there was a birthday celebration and offered great recommendations. The food was superb - mussels, fried oysters, crab cake, and spinach & artichoke dip was also very good! Always a fun and great time Old Ebbitt and look forward to coming back again - an old staple for us!!!

We had the beef Wellington! Never had anything quite like it it was amazing. We've watched Hell's kitchen for years and always wanted to go. So I surprised my wife she absolutely was amazed! We go up to Rochester New York yearly from Charleston South Carolina. Definitely make it a yearly stop if not more lol. Our server was amazing. Very bubbly and very attentive! One of the best experiences we've ever had. We sat at a table for twol. Which was perfect because sitting across from the kitchen was like almost watching a Broadway show! Everything that they talk about in the show you can see for yourself. Absolutely amazing.
