At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. I treated my husband here for his birthday. We were very impressed and happy with the restaurant. The chef even came up to our table and interacted with us! We enjoyed every morsel, and agreed that it is one of our favorite steakhouses! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was spectacular. The staff anticipated your move at times; it was impressive. Overall, amazing experience!

Delicious food that was deeply flavored and surprisingly bright (sometimes soul food can seem super heavy and overwhelming). A perfect brunch spot. I’m eager to bring others and to try their dinner menu. Chef and staff were very pleasant and professional.

We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with a brunch. Twelve happy and well-fed people! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed incredible food, a jazz ensemble, and a wonderful ambiance. We loved the ricotta pancakes, shrimp toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything was perfect!!
