We ordered a variety of items to share. The Filet medallions were a nice accompaniment and done perfectly. A few pieces chilled shrimp which were perfect. The Walleye Pike is a favorite and was exceptionally done with delicate lemon butter sauce which compliments and does not overtake subtle flavor of fish. Fresh salad with fish and then the oysters were perfect. The server was efficient and competent and answered our questions with accuracy.

Every time we enter the restaurant we feel so welcome and truly are excited to yet again enjoy a fabulous evening of delicious food, excellent and friendly service. I anticipate the perfectly chilled martini in the elegant coupe glass. We never feel rushed or forgotten. We are lucky to have Mon Ami Gabi in Chicago!

Love the upscale pub decor. Som let us try a few wines before ordering a nice Vermentino and Barbera. Good Ceasar salad. The chicken was wonderful and large portion. The lobster Louie had tons of lobster. Veg Wellington was excellent. Nice job.

Head Chef Ceasar really knows how to bring unique pairings together, both flavor and texture, that will leave you meditating over each bite. An absolute must! Top service from every staff person; from the head chef to the host to the waiting staff. Everyone takes pride in their work and it is tangible in the overall experience

I took my girlfriend her for her birthday. I was looking for a different experience then the typical river north or west loop restaurants which are very expensive. We were greeted at the door and made to feel welcomed right away. We were seated right away and made simple talk with the owner and the chef as we waited for the other couple that would be joining us for dinner. As soon as they arrived, the owner thanks us for coming and told us how the concept works. The drinks he made were delicious. The food was next level. Every dish was delicious. They actively are engaged with you the entire time. Honestly, it felt like you were at a friends house have dinner instead of being at restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the experience and especially for the food!
