This charming Upper East Side café exudes comfort and conviviality, with parchment shades that soften light from sconces that warm the room. The food and service at Baba was exceptional. The preparation was beautifully executed and service was attentive and professional. I wish that they were open for a longer time.

Very nice and pretty neighborhood restaurant. The food is very good. I prefer the front room, close to the bar, because I think one gets better service there and it's prettier. The back is nice if you want a quiet place, but the service there is less good. They don't see the guests there as easily.
