Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. Dark oak paneling, shiny brass and authentic local antiques create a warm congenial and casual atmosphere. The choice of two comfortable dining rooms each with its own vintage bars make dining and conversation a relaxed and enjoyable experience.     Although pricey, lovely ambience and awesome dinner. Perfect for Valentines and loved that we stayed at the hotel and didn’t have to go outside to get dinner. Quiet enough for conversation but also perfect dinner music. Walked across the hotel lobby and grabbed a drink at Spice Finch, also lovely!

    I got lucky enough to visit here for Valentine's Day, and it was absolutely fantastic! The second we walked in, the vibe was intimate, elegant, and just perfect for a night out. The cuisine was amazing. The service was 10 out of 10, attentive, and made us feel rightly valued. Silky smooth, and we were never hurried. Overall, an amazing experience. I'll be returning for certain. Highly recommend for any special occasion or even if you simply want a top notch dining experience!

    What an incredible restaurant. They have parking/valet options. Shoot out to Nick and Greg for taking care of the car. We got there early but they were able to seat us. They have high chairs for the little ones. Food is outstanding. Service is even better. Make sure you go, and go often.

    been here enough times that host knows my name. had a 5 pm reservation, so place was very quiet, just the way we like it. first time for friends who are particular about their italian food, and wines. so, finding their unusual wine and receiving fantastic meals was great. and i got a nice chocolate mousse for my birthday. Mike, the waiter, always great.
