Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. Great food. Mediocre service. I recommend the Lobster for 2, the Beal Chop, Tiramisu, and Lemon Cheesecake. Service similar to a ski resort where the server is untrained. But that doesn’t matter because she’d rather be skiing anyway.

This restaurant is just perfect for pre-theatre dining and/or special occasions. We celebrated an anniversary and needed to promptly move on to the theatre following dinner. The staff was great, attentive, knowledgeable and so professional. Food was excellent and the wine and desserts were memorable. We stayed at the Park Lane hotel and Quality Italian was just so convenient as well as welcoming. I’ll add it to our “must go in NYC” list.
