Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. Really liked the ambiance. Service was top notch - so friendly and engaging. Food was great. The biggest drawback is that it’s ridiculously loud. I struggled to hear the person seated directly across from me, which became frustrating at times.
