Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available. Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables. We have proudly replaced tipping with a 22% service fee in order to provide a base wage of $25 per hour and free healthcare for all employees. Not too many places can do as many things well as this particular eatery. If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Appetizers include the Charcuterie Board that features house made cured meats and pates with seasonal mostarda and house pickles.     I had been planing to go to Shalom Y'all for quite some time and never quite made it. WHY DID I WAIT??? The food is all delicious, well seasoned and the portions are generous. Our server had excellent suggestions about what we may want to add to our order. Since things are family style, it can be a little challenging to know how much to order when unfamiliar with the portion sizes. I was particularly fond of the baharat chicken kabab on a bed of mejadra. The flavors and textures complemented each other so well. I will be back and bring friends.

    This was our first time at Jeju, and we will definitely be back. We started with the mixed appetizers, which were excellent. Then had a salad and shared the bulgogi skirt steak. Finished with the Jeju sundae. Everything was excellent, and the service was prompt and attentive without being obtrusive. Overall an excellent evening.
