Dametra Cafe is a casual Mediterranean restaurant. Here, diners can expect high-quality healthy food delivered quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor and styling of the dining room is distinctly Greek, specifically like one of the many coastal cities that the country is known for. Between that and the hearty portions and prompt service, Dametra Cafe sits nicely between an upscale restaurant and quick-service places.Dametra's Cafe features primarily Greek cuisine, with some Italian and Spanish thrown in for good measure. After coming here for a few times, this charming Italian restaurant has become a must for us while in Carmel. The food is beyond exceptional. My fav is the Ragu, Jessepe mother’s recipe, which seem to be part of the menu for the last 10 years. You may experience here something infrequent at other places, the friendliness, and charisma the owner makes you feel at home .

Great service. Reasonable price. Best salmon and rice we've ever had second time we've gotten it tasted as good if not better than the first would happily return thanks so very much to all of you for making our dinner.
