On all other days, please just stop in and we will seat you as soon as possible***Fishing pub meets restaurant. This bustling neighborhood restaurant specializes in oysters and other seafood dishes. Using nothing but the freshest ingredients, Chef Taylor Thomas creates seasonal food. The Walrus and the Carpenter also serves wine, smart cocktails, beer and cider. It makes an ideal after-hours hangout spot. Enjoy some fried oysters with a cold beer, surrounded by cozy rustic furnishings. If you prefer an alternative to seafood, look no further than the steak tartare, which comes with thinly sliced rye toast and egg yolk.     Consistently outstanding, friendly service and delicious, high quality food. Other pros: satisfying menu, open modern atmosphere, attentive service. Cons: This time, my portion of steelhead (added to salad) wasn’t as perfect as usual but still tasty. My favorite salad (arugula) is gone from the menu, and the steelhead entree now is creole seasoned, which I don’t prefer. The restaurant was cold, so I left my winter jacket on. Our booth felt a tad small/tight, and I’m a small person. The restroom door is so heavy I can’t imagine they’re in compliance with ADA.

    We reserved a group dinner for my closest co-workers for a Friday celebration. Revel was easy and attentive in the pre-event arrangements. The menu was varied, plentiful and delicious. Service excellent. A memorable, very enjoyable event.

    The restaurant was phenomenal! The decor was great, the ambiance was fantastic, and the service went above and beyond! We had a large group and Ty and his colleagues took great care of us all! Definitely on my eat there again list!
