Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Its chefs are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and its bar staff creates innovative cocktails and serves a range of wines by the glass and draught beers, as well. The menu at Meat & Potatoes is a new take on basic. Had an excellent dinner here while in town for a conference as this was located in our hotel. Menu was diverse but also had some staple items which is nice when travelling. I enjoyed the Lumpia appetizer and the Egyptian entree, both very tasting and well presented. The cocktails were well crafted and the server friendly and personable. Thank you for a nice dinner!

One of my favorite restaurants to dine at the food the atmosphere everything is phenomenal. They have great management and their workers are very professional art was our waiter and he was fantastic. Can’t wait to return to have dinner again.
