Located in Hawthorne"s historic Degray house, Bottagra Restaurant opened its doors in early 2008. What was once used as an encampment for General Lafayette's troops during the Revolutionary War has been transformed into a modern, elegant restaurant with the feel and charm of a Tuscan villa. Chef-Owners Robert Vicari and Carlo Carbonaro have fused their extensive restaurant experience together to offer a variety of dishes hailing from both the northern and southern regions of Italy. Went to the Park West Tavern for the first time for a late lunch, I was met very cordially and was seated immediately. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very professional. The food was outstanding as the appetizers were delicious as so different. The apps were the Pork Belly Confit and Gnocchi. The two of us ordered the Wagyu Burger which was the most delicious burger that I have ever had. All in all, the overall experience was amazing and I would highly recommend the Park West Tavern.
