Excellent food and drink. Small but very well curated list of wines by the glass. Great cocktails. Food is consistently prepared with high-quality ingredients and cooked with expertise and care. Atmosphere is lively/energetic but still quiet enough that two middle-age people can easily hear one another talk without shouting. :-) A great evening out.

The decor is on point and cocktails are amazing. Food is on pare with what you would expect from a good north end spot. Recommend trying to sit at the bar if you can

A special shoutout to our server, Vinicius, who made the evening truly extraordinary. His knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and warm, professional demeanor added so much to our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and we left feeling absolutely spoiled. As a frequent diner at 80 Thoreau I was a little concerned about their menu changes. Last night we tried 4 “Smalls” and 1 “Medium” from their menu. Ian helped w our choices and Andrew selected a great wine to accompany pur varied menu. Yellow fin tuna crudo, Poached lobster in bisque foam, Bay scallops w green apple and Duck consommé w duck confit. Each serving was small but delicious. Then the Medium option was divided for us. Paccheri-Beef, pancetta, fennel w Parmigiano Reggiano finished our outstanding dining experience. Bravo 80 Thoreau!

Excellent food and service. We went on a gluten free Monday due to my wife’s celiac disease. Gluten free or not, the food was fantastic.
