Hands down best food we’ve eaten in Seattle. Pork belly, mackerel, fried mushrooms, and the “smooth” cocktail. All to die for. Also, Vela was a delightful server!!

Food wasn’t very good. Shrimp was over cooked and so was the steak. Service was decent but the server had zero personality and didn’t seem to want to engage any more than absolutely necessary. Drinks were ok. I probably won’t go back given the high prices and poor food.

Food was excellent especially the seafood chowder! Service was a bit slow but not too bad. Atmosphere was good but not super.

I particularly want to give a shout out to our server who checked for food allergens and made lemonade from scratch because you didn't carry it. He was so thoughtful and efficient and really made the experience outstanding.
