Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals. It has plenty of parking out front, my party arrived early and decided to have a cocktail at the bar as happy hour was running $8 cocktails. It was Thursday and the restaurant was only 20% full. Initially seated under a flickering light, but was moved upon request. The food order was taken promptly and the steak was excellent and cooked to order. I would go again, plenty of spacing, lovely ambience, excellent food, quiet and service was excellent.

We have dined here many times, and our most recent visit was up to their usual high standards. Authentic French bistro menu and ambiance, attentive service, great food (recommend boef bourguinon, onion coup, calamari). Better than other French options in town.

Our dinner and service was outstanding from start to finish. A gracious greeting from our server offering us a varied menu with tempting specials. We dined in a lovely, quiet room not bothered by loud music or noisy patrons We started with a nice kale salad and followed with scallops and the duck special -- both tasty, attractive and perfectly prepared. We finished with hot coffee and an excellent tiramisu. Very reasonably priced for the quality of everything we received

Good selection of beer. Overall good pub food. Nothing crazy. It started to get noisy when some of the local fans came in to watch a game. Good spot. Would return.
