Our philosophy is to attempt to source wild-caught fish, local pasture-raised poultry and grass-fed poultry, as well as plant-based meals that promise to be flavorful options to those who choose to eat meat-free. We offer allergen sensitive options for gluten-free, dairy-free, nut and seed free. Whenever possible we strive to offerproducts without hormones and steroids and the restaurant strives to be cruelty free and to supports local organic, biodynamic and sustainable farms. Provisions not made in house will be sourced from the coolest epicureans. Health conscious casual fine dine in a beautiful setting with live entertainment nightly. Indoor/outdoor dining. Before Stuft Pizza gained recognition as a top restaurant in Palm Desert, and La Quinta, Jack Bertram and his wife, Pat, launched the first Stuft Pizza in Cerritos, California in 1976. After nearly 9 months of experimenting, Jack developed the recipe for the now beloved pizza. Despite initially offering only take-out pizza, the store's unwavering commitment to quality propelled its success. Two years later, Jack and Pat opened a second store in Whittier, and in 1986, Stuft Pizza transitioned into a franchise.While franchisee-owned outlets operate outside the Coachella Valley, the Stuft Pizza Bar & Grill locations in the desert, both owned by the Bertram Family, are distinct. Since 2004 in La Quinta and 2014 in Palm Desert, we have been proud fixtures in the desert, boasting expanded menus, full bars, full service, HD TVs, and an exceptional wine list.

King’s Highway is our desert diner, and celebrates the ineffable, bohemian spirit of the wide open West. Our seasonal menu is sourced from independent farmers spread across the Coachella Valley and Southern California. We reinvented an old Denny’s restaurant to celebrate its retro style and add fresh, modern updates. During renovations we unearthed a terrazzo floor, sandblasted the flagstone walls and re-covered the booths in saddle leather. We’re open all day, every day. The coffee’s hot and the beer is cold. Our popular dishes include ricotta pancakes, chopped salad, and smoked meatloaf.**Please note that King's Highway operates on a "first come first served" basis between 7 am & 5 pm except for parties of 10 or more

    Great pizza. Service was first rate. Easy to make reservations. TVs in the back room could be bigger. Had a tough time seeing tennis compared to the front room.

    We requested a table off to the side due to hearing issues and we got it … we also got Cody who was absolutely the best… attentive and actually listened… very nice young man and should surely be recognized… we had a restaurant for over 45 years and would have welcomed him into our family… food was great And we thoroughly enjoyed our evening

    As foodies from the Boston area, I have to say that Le Donne Cucina is an EXCELLENT choice for delicious, authentic Italian food when in the Palm Desert area. The menu is extensive and varied. Almost all the various types of pasta are made handmade (and delicious) and the chef is happy to make changes in the type of sauce or pasta included with most dishes. Our waitress was delightful and very helpful with providing information on many aspects of the menu. The pace of service was good. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual. The noise level is on the loud side, but not at all offensive and just seems right. The prices are quite reasonable. Highly recommended!
