An amazing restaurant . The food is spectacular. The gorganzola bread is a must The ribs were fantastic!!!

Service was great. Hostess was lovely. Sat in a booth which was very comfortable and despite the crowd seemed very private. Food was great. A little expensive but worth a trip to the city for dinner and a show once in a while.

For a business meeting it’s tough execution and noisy but casual enough to take Junior staff to have a nice and fun informal lunch.

The Sugar Bar has a wonderful and open ambience. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, they are attentive to your needs, efficient without pompousness, and simply warm and welcoming. The food is excellent, and they are willing to accommodate some special requests, like leaving off the salt in cooking fish, for someone on a low-salt diet. The decor is both beautiful and fascinating and warrants attention. Bravo, Sugar Bar. One of my favorite eating spots in New York!
