Located in San Francisco’s Design District, Niku Steakhouse is a meat-focused restaurant, highlighting an in-house dry aging program, exclusive cuts of coveted Japanese A5 wagyu with an emphasis on wood fired cooking. Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. Hi Neighbor!At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved.     Fun menu with emphasis on plates to share, creative use of seasonal ingredients and the pita bread is to die for. The Breaking Bread appetizer sampler is a must order. Lamb chops were divine. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive, but not overly so--made for a delicious, relaxing weekday lunch with girlfriends.

    My experience at Alexander’s was outstanding in every respect. Our server Robby was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make our decision, and the service from the entire staff was second to none. I truly felt like a valued guest during my dinner, and never once was a need I had not instantly met. As for the food, the Hokkaido wagyu was unbelievable, and paired with the Shiga Omi wagyu was a wonderful way to get a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth steak along with something so unique and special. I highly, highly recommend others choose Alexander’s as the location for a steakhouse experience like no other. Thank you to Robby and the team for helping my wife and I celebrate our special occasion with quality service and food!
