With the open kitchen and craft-cocktail bar in the spotlight, Season to Taste is the perfect setting for a casual yet elevated dining experience. Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. Signature dishes like Chicken Under a Brick, Grilled Octopus and Orecchiette with Sausage have become instant classics. Seasonal menu updates incorporate flavors from local farmers and purveyors. MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.     We have been guests here since opening day. It is the rare place that has been world class since then through now approx 9 years! Never misses. Always a thrillingly perfect dish to be savored! And the staff, oh my, none better! The Held family’s go to south end dinner spot. Always will return for more! Love!

    Very much enjoyed our experience at Uni. Dishes are “tasting-sized” which makes for a great variety and a different awakening of your taste buds with each dish.

    Lunch today was a positive experience from being greeted at the welcoming station through the meal. Alberto Petricca is a great host and Allejandro as always is friendly and very reliable and attentive. The food was fine and the ambiance on the second floor is above the average -very lovely, quiet but not without vitality. It was a business lunch and by placing us in a corner table, they were sensitive for the need for some privacy. The price was appropriate. I'll go back for either business or pleasure.

    Excellent food and service. We went on a gluten free Monday due to my wife’s celiac disease. Gluten free or not, the food was fantastic.

    We have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, pace, service and ambience. To night it was 5 stars again. But it was a special night for us on our 40th wedding anniversary. Our Waiter, Nate, was as stellar as ever. Yummy and creative offerings left us happy and amazed. Thank you all. Nicki & Allen
