Zitz Sum is a 30 seat seasonal restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. A pursuit for knowledge was the stimulus and continues to be the driving force behind Chef Niven’s career. Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors. Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal. One of the things that I always tell my cooks is, ask questions, be inquisitive if you don’t know. I want the same for my guests."

Pricey but delicious. Vibe was cool upscale not pretentious but surprisingly seemed to clear out by 10 pm on a Friday.

Easily one of the top five dining experiences I’ve had in my life, including several fine dining experiences around the world. We opted for the multi-course tasting, and every course was somehow more amazing than the previous. The staff was helpful, attentive, and delightful too. For all of the nice things I have to say, it’s worth mentioning that you will pay for it. The bill was indeed eye-popping. That being said, I do not regret our choices. This place is a gem.

A wonderful evening with family and friends trying out some place new. We wanted to try so many menu items we decided to share plates. Everything was delicious! Especially enjoyed the lamb chops. Who knew we liked vegetables as much as we did when presented artfully and flavorful. The desserts were sinfully good. The service was attentive and friendly. The chef came by. The hostess was so polite and sweet. Just a fabulous night all around!
