Absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff, the food, the service. All of it. Every detail.

Nobu offers delicious food, exceptional service, and the best lychee martini. However, the reception staff’s aloof and unwelcoming demeanor often leaves much to be desired. One can’t help but wonder who they think they are, given their role—likely earning a modest wage—yet carrying an air of superiority.

This was our second visit and we loved it again. Chambers is a relaxing, unpretentious restaurant where you can actually hear each other because the acoustics are so beautifully designed. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. Certainly more comforting than clever, but well executed. The bread is swoony. You want to steal your neighbors the texture is so lovely! But don't fill up on it! High marks for the monkfish, the pork, hamachi, Manila clam toast, the beet, apples and endive salad, the castelfranco. Our friend loved his chicken. Even the sides were on point. The white sweet potatoes melted in your mouth! Great desserts too! We're not big drinkers but there's plenty of wonderful options and help if need help deciding.

It's wonderful to return to a restaurant after many years and find that it is still excellent. Adam at the Musket Room was an incredibly gracious host. He said something that you don't hear in many restaurants in New York when our table was delayed, "We are here to wait on you, not for you to wait on us." He generously bought us some drinks and nibbles to make up for the wait. We were celebrating a birthday and he made the birthday girl feel very special. The breads and spreads were wonderful. I don't know which was better the anchovy butter or the chicken liver mousse and everything looked beautiful. We had the caviar service which was fun and delicious! Also, the Hamachi, the endive salad and the gnocchi. For mains we have the salmon, the Wagyu beef, and the duck. Everything was beautifully presented and gobbled up! We did think the desserts were not as delicious as the rest of the meal. The panna cotta and the vegan cheesecake were more curious than divine, but nice. He sent out the vacherin as a bday surprise and that was EXCELLENT! Totally SOLID meal. We look forward to trying Rafs and coming back to the Musket Room again. We

We had a great experience at Beauty and Essex! We ordered 8 items for 5 people and had plenty of food. Highlights were apple and kale salad, tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings, strip steak and mushroom ravioli. Service was fantastic and ambience was fabulous. Expensive but worth it!
