Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. Dark oak paneling, shiny brass and authentic local antiques create a warm congenial and casual atmosphere.     We had a great experience. We went fir our anniversary, first time there. We had Tristan as a server & he was on the ball. The filet mignon eggrolls were probably our favorite. The steak was cooked perfectly & the mustard sauce was no joke. The lobster bisque was out of this world (no skimping on the lobster) For entrees, we had the Salmon Imperial & Lobster Pasta. There were no leftovers to be seen. I mean, it probably looked like we licked the plates clean (we didn't, but still).

    I got lucky enough to visit here for Valentine's Day, and it was absolutely fantastic! The second we walked in, the vibe was intimate, elegant, and just perfect for a night out. The cuisine was amazing. The service was 10 out of 10, attentive, and made us feel rightly valued. Silky smooth, and we were never hurried. Overall, an amazing experience. I'll be returning for certain. Highly recommend for any special occasion or even if you simply want a top notch dining experience!

    We had an amazing Valentine’s Day experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was so romantic and the live pianist set the mood perfectly, he even played a request which topped off a very special night!! Oh and the Lobster Ravioli and the NY Strip Steak was so amazing!!Thank you Bistro Romano!!!

    Wow, I’ve never had a dining experience quite like it!!! Staff and service went above and beyond. It was Valentine’s Day, and the staff signed a card for us! The food was so fresh and flavorful. The flavor of that Caesar salad… I’ll be raving about it forever.

    I love this place. Every dish is absolutely mind warping delicious. From the pasta with uni to the dreamy marbelized pink foi grois to that insanely heart of onioin crepe, myself and Rachel could not get enough. The service was wonderful. We loved Enrique. And we love that cozy magically lit home environment. It's our fave.
