For those who love their afternoon teas fresh, fragrant and steeped in history, Palm Court at The Drake Hotel serving tea for over a century. Even the Queen and Princess Diana have made their royal visits here. Your afternoon tea begins with Palais de Thes menu, which features 15 tea blends including classic selections like the English Breakfast to modern yet delightful twists like the Mélange du Cap.Tea is served in individual tea pots accompanied by the traditional three tiered tea tray filled with an arrangement of gourmet finger sandwiches and scones; and dainty petit fours with complements of preserves, lemon curd and English double Devon cream.And let’s not forget about our little tea. Off the Pendry Chicago lobby within the historic Carbide & Carbon building, Bar Pendry is a celebration of a classic Chicago cocktail bar. Walk-ins are always encouraged, with reservations taken only for Boozy Tea. With interiors designed by world-renowned design firm Studio Munge, the sophisticated lounge is tucked behind heavy floor-to-ceiling drapery and boasts a dark and moody atmosphere with custom leather sofas, vintage rugs, cozy banquettes and a curated art collection. Anchored around a double-sided fireplace, the 54-person bar offers guests with a selection of classic and seasonal cocktails, wine and local beers along with a menu of elevated bar bites by Pendry Chicago’s Executive Mark Shoemaker and Sunday Afternoon Boozy Tea, available by reservation only.

We like to say that we are International Vegan Restaurant. That means our food is 100% plant based and Globally Inspired. We have a few American classics like homemade veggie burgers, mac and cheese and of course Nachos. However, we also have plenty of healthy options. Our Kitchen Manager specializes in creating comfort dishes from different cultures by making food that is hearty and flavorful, but still healthy. Many food items will have a focus on plants, rather than trying to mimic meat. Reading our menu is like traveling the globe with the different options we will have. Have a taste of Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Italy, Balkans and so much more! Brunch Menu is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We were nominited for the best brunch in the country by VegOut Magazine and our soup was nominated as Best Soup of Chicago. We won Best Patio 2020 by North Commision. Can't wait to welcome you.
