Our two-story fish emporium elevates the 40-year legacy of our original location in Chestnut Hill (a few doors down from where we are now). Here we feature a large raw bar, open kitchen and glass-enclosed lounge. In warmer months, we retract the lounge’s glass walls and ceiling for drinking under the sun or stars. And we open our patio, overlooking Hammond Pond, for al fresco dining. Join us upstairs at our restaurant or shop our fish market on the first floor.

Artisan Bistro is a modern and inviting dining room dressed in rich dark and light woods with elegant European design elements. Accents of black, off-white, cognac, blues and warm grays echo a classic bistro look and feel. Crafted wood wainscoting throughout the room and soft ambient lighting from above highlight the white-washed, wood floors to further enhance the bistro-like setting. New stitched-leather booth seating lines the dramatic floor to ceiling wall of windows overlooking Avery Street and two high-top u-shaped booths frame the space on either end. Additional cluster seating is intimate and close, allowing for easy conversation and lively exchange. Artisan Bistro features fresh, local seasonal dishes that present artisanal cooking in an approachable way.

    What a wonderful way to start a Sunday. The food that was ordered was excellent, well cooked, looking good on the plate, and delicious. A lovely combination of items on the main course that we ordered, that was not big but had wonderful component parts. The service was excellent. There were many other intriguing items the menu as well. Who could ask for anything more.

    Terra is an absolute masterpiece of a restaurant! The Italian food here is nothing short of spectacular—every dish is crafted to perfection, and the flavors are unforgettable. The wine selection is equally impressive, with thoughtful pairings that elevate the dining experience to a whole new level. A special shoutout to our server, Vinicius, who made the evening truly extraordinary. His knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and warm, professional demeanor added so much to our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and we left feeling absolutely spoiled. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine, an incredible wine list, and top-tier service, Terra is the place to be. Highly recommend!

    The meal was superb, from beginning to end. Best dining out experience in a very long time. I was with a party of 4 to celebrate a birthday. We all had different pasta dishes and each one was terrific. Appetizers and desserts were great too. Excellent service and comfortable ambience and noise level. I look forward to the next time. 👍❣️

    My friends and I had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was quiet, the waitstaff was attentive and friendly and the food was not only delicious; but beautifully presented. What more could one ask for when dining out?
