We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews.     Excellent dinner and service. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Servers were always ready to refill glasses and to bring bread. We could not recommend highly enough! Fantastic ambience!

    This was an amazing experience I really enjoyed the fact that from the moment you arrive they make it feel personal as if you and your guest as if you rented out the place.. every dish was explained in great culinary fashion and I love the way each server and host incorporated their knowledge of the dish being served. Hands down one of the premier experiences in the D.C area and a must for impressing any level of company you have. The value is very worth it but the experience is priceless..

    Food was outstanding! Service was a little slow but they were very busy so thats to be expected. We were seated upstairs which was a little weird. No decorations and a bit awkward. Overall, will definitely go back because the food is worth it.

    We couldn’t have been more impressed with the service and the great food. Everyone in our party of four had something different and each meal was delicious and came with more than ample servings. The service was top notch across the board from our charming waitress to the busboys delivering and clearing our plates. Without question all of us will come back and spread the word amongst our local friends that The Farnhouse is a must for lunch or dinner.
