Hidden away in the Bywater neighborhood, The Country Club offers an elegant escape from everyday living. Our beautiful restaurant and bar deliver exquisite food and drink in sophisticated surroundings. We offer chef-driven cuisine inspired by Italian-French and Creole-Southern heritages. Our incredible menus by Chef Chris Barbato, formerly of Commander’s Palace, has all the foodies talking. Our award-winning wine program features more than 140 bottles from 13 countries and its very own private label wines. You MUST be 21 or over to dine with us. Some outdoor seating is available. If you would like to request outdoor seating, please do so when you arrive. We book up for Drag Brunch six months out, HOWEVER, as people cancel reservations they immediately become available online, so be sure to check back often. For Parties over 20 people please contact us directly.

The Pelican Club is a contemporary New Orleans restaurant located on historic Exchange Place in the French Quarter.     I can’t say enough good things about my first experience. The staff are warm and very attentive, the atmosphere is perfect for an intimate celebration or date. I didn’t feel like I was in New Orleans, it was a very unique experience that I can’t adequately explain. The caviar and its presentation, the small plates and the pork belly, and all the desserts were unique and just plain perfect. The cocktails didn’t disappoint, I highly recommend the King Creole and Brandy Crusta. I wish I were a better writer, because this place is both a jewel and a gem, and I look forward to next time.

    A little hidden gem , with great decor, and awesome vibe! Food was great and the value - fantastic! Options to save money if you pay by cash so we paid by cash. We tried new dishes and kept a few staples. Best dish was the muscles with garlic sauce and excellent bread! Would have liked to try the Red Fish, but was out at the time. Thank you!
