Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. Beech reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of bad weather.

Under the culinary direction of Chef Somoza, Flora’s menu captures the spirit of Mediterranean seaside towns from Saint Tropez to Capri to Marbella, spotlighting the bountiful seafood and vibrant produce that are hallmarks of coastal cuisine.     We celebrated our son’s graduation from naval chaplaincy school here. Everything was wonderful! Our server was so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We had a corner table with a great view of the water. There were quite a few other groups in our area, so the noise level did rise a bit, but we could still have comfortable conversation. At the end of our meal, our server brought a card to our son, signed by the staff, congratulating him on his accomplishment! I definitely recommend The Mooring for any occasion!

    Excellent food and service. My salmon was prepared perfectly and nicely presented. Wine list is pricey but there are some reasonably priced nice wines by the glass. Really a top-notch experience.

    Salmon quinoa bowl delicious. While it had some greens, would have liked a bit more (I like a green serving nightly). Husband liked lamb burger - suggest options for other rolls besides brioche as brioche contains milk (not good for those with allergy). He got pita instead but couldn’t eat as sandwich given plating. Other party took home half of fish given size! Really good food and service all around.
