Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. Honestly I was quite impressed with the food, the presentation, and the customer service. My one piece of feedback would be I think the restaurant could have been more clearly labeled from the outside, it took us some time to find it on the street

I cannot say enough good things about this evening’s dinner. We absolutely loved chef Bennett. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was even better. 5 out of 5 stars. We will 100% be back!

This is the first time my husband and I did an 8 course tasting. With incredibly knowledgable staff, mind blowing and complex food, this was a night to remember. When a taste can bring you back to your childhood (much like what happened in Ratatouille), it’s nothing I had ever experienced anywhere else. Even as a non vegetarian, I did not miss the absence of meat. A must “go-to”.
