Since Rafael Palomino—Sonora’s Executive Chef and Proprietor—opened the doors to this, his flagship Latin-fusion restaurant, he has received accolades from a broad customer base, including an “Excellent” from the New York Times. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. The only hiccup we had was that we ordered a lot of appetizers for sharing (8) and only one main dish. We asked that the appetizers not all come out at once, and they did, which was less than ideal. But still, easily forgiven when the food and the rest of the service were so exemplary.
