White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. I have been to brookside several times and always leave satisfied. And mio was very good and my table mates enjoyed their meal. Also. Our server was very good, quite professional. I have Celiac and I'm always concerned that I will have cross-contamination issues but I've been fine every time. Thank you.

Had a great meal! First time being there under the new white dog name. I will definitely eat here again. Just a little chilly at the window with a two seater table in the back room, where we sat. That made it a little bit more difficult to enjoy the experience fully since we were cold. I do believe our server did turn up the heat a bit for us. Thanks!! To be fair, the seasons are changing and temps dropped recently, and it was raining and windy. The food was amazing and the place is beautiful, despite being cold near that one window, I would definitely enjoy a meal here again.

DK is a favorite, especially wonderful for special occasions. The many small dining rooms are lovely, fireplaces cozy, and bar bright and lively. Tonight’s dinner was beautifully presented, the flavors wonderful: scallops with shaved Brussels and bacon jam, filet mignon, beet salad, cappuccino chocolate truffle dessert, and as always pop-overs with lemon curd. Service friendly and professional. Top Notch!

Once we discovered this gem, we keep coming back! Our favorites are the short rib bolognese (with potato gnocchi-yum), the short ribs, the pork chop, and the fruit with ricotta flat bread. Love this place!
