Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato - Downtown Atlanta is a traditional Neapolitan trattoria centered around an open kitchen featuring a 6,000 pound wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. The 170 seat dining room also has large semicircular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers along with Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway. Originating in and the true pizza of Naples in the 1600s, Vera Pizza Napoletana is 12 inches or less in size, made from simple fresh quality ingredients from the Campania region of Italy and cooked at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees in approximately 60 seconds. Everyone was amazingly accommodating. The game ran late and we had to move our reservation and they were great about helping us to get a table for our whole family. The food was out of this world. The building itself is beautiful. Thank you for a great experience.

Just another Saturday night during Christmas. It was empty, well it had a hand full of people in the dining area. But the bar was packed. The food was delicious a few things were different; I have a Caribbean pallet. The drinks were delicious and on point. They had James Hennessy along with a full course of Hennessy. The atmosphere was metropolitan sexy in a classy vibe way. We had a great time. It’s near the Fox theater so you can stop in before or after a show. The server was very attentive. I would like to qualify the wait staff when it was a little more customers. But it was a delightful experience.

Another great meal at BeetleCat! The donut brunch lights up my life, and I'm in a serious relationship with the lobster roll. I had the chef's selection of oysters this time... just excellent. Service is always personable and professional. I look forward to my next visit!
