A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Always a great meal with fantastic service at this and all the Cecconi's locations that I have frequented worldwide. We were happy to get a table with a view and try some creative cuisine. The whipped ricotta with truffle was superb. I feel like a lot of restaurants have the same menus these days and the chef really puts his own spin on some basic items and really makes them mouth watering. Quite the enjoyable experience!

I wanted try the burger for a while. I was told they did not have it cause the oven was down. So they could not bake the bread. A few minutes after I was told that a man sitting 2 tables down was served the burger. Not sure why that happened. I later seen the post okay. instagram. I been wanting to go to hawksmoor for some time Now to try the burger. But they did not make it for me. Overall eveything else was amazing.

Banging meal. The waiter recommended the entire meal and I didn’t look at the menu once. Octopus, Potatoes. Filet, Skirt steak + more. Went with party of 7, 250$ including 2 pitchers of sangria. Very good value

Great experience, again! The rigatoni vodka is outstanding. Pasta is fresh (since it's made in-house). Great wine selection, as well. Looking forward to going back again.
