La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversize iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The 250-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.

The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Great food. My veal chop was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful - worth the cost and more. . My companion’s Agnolotti was wonderful. - both the pasta and the mushroom sauce. Top notch Tiramisu. Great service.

Limani was a great surprise. The staff was outstanding. Very attentive . The GM is on top of his game. The bartender (female) was as good as it gets! The food exceeded my expectation’s! Thank you and we will be back !

I wanted try the burger for a while. I was told they did not have it cause the oven was down. So they could not bake the bread. A few minutes after I was told that a man sitting 2 tables down was served the burger. Not sure why that happened. I later seen the post okay. instagram. I been wanting to go to hawksmoor for some time Now to try the burger. But they did not make it for me. Overall eveything else was amazing.

Great experience, again! The rigatoni vodka is outstanding. Pasta is fresh (since it's made in-house). Great wine selection, as well. Looking forward to going back again.
