A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Excellent dishes with lovely presentation and a cohesive seafood theme. Wine pairing works amazingly with the dishes. Service was on point and I loved my conversations with the servers and the sommelier!

I wanted try the burger for a while. I was told they did not have it cause the oven was down. So they could not bake the bread. A few minutes after I was told that a man sitting 2 tables down was served the burger. Not sure why that happened. I later seen the post okay. instagram. I been wanting to go to hawksmoor for some time Now to try the burger. But they did not make it for me. Overall eveything else was amazing.

We had a wonderful lunch at Patrizia’s on Sunday. Our appetizers of fried calamari and burrata were amazing - probably the best calamari I’ve ever had. Our entrees were delicious and plentiful and dessert was the icing on the cake. What a gem in this little Queens neighborhood!

Excellent as always. One of my favorite spot to go to in Queens. The Short Rib with Risotto was great as well as the Creme Burlee. I know the restaurant is a local spot, but I will be coming back.
