Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. The food, space, and staff is always great, but parking when there’s an event at Fort Mason is a nightmare. My husband tried for a full hour with no luck, so I ordered for takeaway since we couldn’t eat there together. (The restaurant should figure out a way to secure parking spaces in the lot for diners, leaving event-goers to park in the lots further away and then take a shuttle over.)

Really a cool spot, the lamb was delicious, so as the clam dish. Believe it's called Mydia . The octopus civeche was more tomatoes than Octopus, that was pretty disappointing. Great wine selection . Owner was there and was really nice. Our waitress was really nice to and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Will come back again.

We had such a fantastic time at Foreign Cinema! From the warm welcome when we arrived to the excellent servers and the delicious food, it was an all star visit. It's no wonder Foreign Cinema is an icon in San Francisco. We can't wait to go back!

Having to order food & beverage via a QR code and then being expected to tip on service for basically food runners seemed a bit unfair. The beers were excellent. The currywurst needed MUCH more curry.
