At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The attention to detail are evident in not only the food they make but also the ambience they have created. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls. Ajanta features regional dishes from all over India, offered through a menu that changes every month. We feature organic chicken and vegetables. When possible, we use local and sustainable products.     Food was so good and everyone was so nice! I asked for a booth and they adjusted my reso without question and did all they could to accommodate. Only "issue" was that at times it did get a tad bit too loud (maybe due to where we were sitting, no carpet on the floor in the section I was sitting in), but that's also what made the ambiance so fun and exciting! So really no complains. I would def go back again. PS - The Cod and the Duck were super yummy! They also have homemade Kombucha!

    We reserved a table for four and arrived twenty minutes early, but the host found a nice table for us. The restaurant was very busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Our server was very nice and always came in a timely manner. Our food was very tasty and cooked well. The desserts were very good as well. Also the mixed cocktails were delicious. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.
