Offering a menu highlighting game meats, locally sourced ingredients, and a curated selection of California and Old World wines, the Mountain House is one of the most unique settings in California. From a roadhouse to fine dining, the unassuming red cabin has stood the test of time along with the majestic redwoods that surround it. Today, the restaurant is owned and operated by distinguished chefs Dmitry Elperin and William Roberts. We offer a three-course prix fixe menu for in our dining rooms and additionally, we serve an à la carte menu in our bar and lounge, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our first time back since the new owners took over and it could not have been better. Same cozy, rustic ambience and excellent cuisine. We had the scallops to start followed by the pork tenderloin and short ribs as entrees. The wines were wonderfully paried as well. In a word, everything was perfection. A shout out to Sebastian, a true professional and gentleman who helped make our evening extra special. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good selection of beer. Overall good pub food. Nothing crazy. It started to get noisy when some of the local fans came in to watch a game. Good spot. Would return.

P.F. Chang builds beautiful restaurant interiors and the Palo Alto location is no exception. The vibrant colors and lighting paired with a low noise level created just the right ambiance for a birthday dinner for four, two of whom were vegetarians. The menu provided ample delicious choices for all of us. We enjoyed every bite of every dish. Our server was excellent. The birthday desserts he brought us to share were outstanding. What you might not expect at a Chinese restaurant is a fabulous Mojito. Make sure you have at least one!
