The Robin's Nest is an independent restaurant devoted to customer service. You are invited for a delicious lunch, intimate dinner, relaxing Sunday brunch or evening cocktail. Our menu offers an eclectic mix of favorites with an American flair. The eco-friendly restaurant uses the best available ingredients from local farms, featuring many vegetarian and gluten free dishes on the daily menu. Customers are always encouraged to share special food needs with the chef so that every dining experience is completely satisfying. No Outside Food allowed. The Robin's Nest Restaurant is situated in a beautifully restored Victorian building filled with antiques; and, located in the heart of downtown Mount Holly overlooking the Rancocas Creek. Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it. Fresh ingredients, house-made soups and chowders, comfort food with a twist freshly prepared to order were all musts! Features unique to New England were the foundation – Ipswich Belly Clams (aka steamers, softshells, pissers), fresh Lobster Roll, a Raw Bar with half-shell oysters and clams and, of course, live Lobsters arriving regularly. Lighthouses and other nautical décor highlight the ambience to create a coastal dining experience like none other in the greater Lehigh Valley.

    Loved the Thursday night pasta tasting menu, the short ribs were phenomenal! Everything is fresh and delicious. I expected the lights to dimmed a bit lower but it wasn’t a big deal for me.

    Went with a large group of friends so we may have contributed to an increase in noise level! But we did sit in the bar, so hopefully didn’t disrupt anyone’s quiet meal. Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow, but they didn’t have a lot of help that night so our waitress did a great job for having to take care of so many tables. We had fun, enjoyed our meals, and will come back!

    Always have the best meal here ! Took my mom today. Laura made sure we had everything we needed! Homemade pesto with warm bread the BEST artichokes (the old way thank you chef !! ) and of course the BEST eggplant Parmesan ever. Thank you for another amazing meal! See you soon!!
