Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life. Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. We brought four friends here who are from out of town and they were fascinated. Everything we ordered (two sushi rolls, steak, sukiyaki, poke don, tempura, miso, teriyaki chicken, sake) was amazing. We sat at one of the cool authentic booths there where you take off your shoes to sit. The waitress burned her hand on the sukiyaki as she was delivering it, and it spilled on one of our shoes. She was so apologetic and tried to clean it but it will need a more thorough washing. But we were more concerned about her hand because it was very, very hot. If you're going for the first time, the sukiyaki (we like the beef) is unreal. We also like the mai zuru and geisha rolls. Such a great meal and great experience for the price.

A small group of us went to Kimi's to celebrate a birthday. What a wonderful experience. The ambiance is beautiful, classy and calm. Our waiter could not have been more attentive and had perfect timing. The food was fantastic! Try the pork chop! And the jewel of the night -- dessert with a sparkler for my dining companion celebrating a birthday. It was a special and perfect night. Thank you Kimi!

The food was very tasty. I enjoyed the make your own Omelette. It was nice as I hate wasting food, this meal only uses 2 eggs which most restaurants use 3. Just the right size. However, when I ordered the seasonal fruit, I expected more than a bunch of grapes.

The food here was phenomenal. Had three different dishes at our table and all had excellent flavor. Service was on point as well. For reference, I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, which has excellent dining options.
