Our owner Jimmy started Mt Fuji Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse back in 2005 as an small sushi restaurant. Since then we've won 2 awards from The Courier Post Readers Choice for one of the Best Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in South Jersey. Fast forward to 2013 we opened our Hibachi Grill section and ever since then it's been the go-to place for people that wants to have fun and watch an performance at the same time. Our menu has three sections one for sushi bar items, the second one for Japanese Cuisine and the third one for the Hibachi Grill. With over 30 years of experience in Japanese Cuisine with his specialty in sushi, Jimmy strives on perfecting the art of sushi making and is always makes sure that the ingredients used are all up to standards before cooking. That is our secret to why we were able to maintain our 4.0 and above reviews from all platforms!We are the only restaurant in Deptford that serves Sushi and have Hibachi performances!

The diverse menu offers traditional and specialty sushi rolls, raw oysters, scallops, hand-selected fish, and shareable entrees. Tuna Bar offers a fully stocked bar of wine, sake, and spirits. First time and it was great! Mike was our server and he was very personable and professional. Food is wonderful and the menu is very big. The chili garlic noodles were amazing.

Came back after more than ten years and the food is still very good. The A5 wagyu and the toro are excellent as was the sparkling sake. The katsu and udon are delicious and the tamari chocolate dessert with sesame ice cream was creative and tasty. Service was attentive, informative, and efficient. All in all, a mainstay in the Philly restaurant scene that you can't go wrong with.

Our server was terrible, had an attitude all the way up until it was time to tip at the end of our expérience, then she decided to be civil. BUT our chef made up for everything, he was amazing!

Phenomenal dining experience whenever we go, and we try to go often! Can’t rave enough about the sushi/sashimi and other offerings. Have never had any dish that wasn’t superb!
