Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. Food, in general, was uneven; some dishes were excellent others were meh. Calamari was over-breaded, overcooked and chewy tough; we had to send it back. Ambiance was nice and service was pleasant and efficient. Pretty good but other Thai places in the area are a bit better.

We went to celebrate a birthday and 15 years of friendship. There was something delicious on the menu for everyone. The prosecco was delightful, too, served in lovely champagne glasses.
