Our owner Jimmy started Mt Fuji Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse back in 2005 as an small sushi restaurant. Since then we've won 2 awards from The Courier Post Readers Choice for one of the Best Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in South Jersey. Fast forward to 2013 we opened our Hibachi Grill section and ever since then it's been the go-to place for people that wants to have fun and watch an performance at the same time. Our menu has three sections one for sushi bar items, the second one for Japanese Cuisine and the third one for the Hibachi Grill. With over 30 years of experience in Japanese Cuisine with his specialty in sushi, Jimmy strives on perfecting the art of sushi making and is always makes sure that the ingredients used are all up to standards before cooking. That is our secret to why we were able to maintain our 4.0 and above reviews from all platforms!We are the only restaurant in Deptford that serves Sushi and have Hibachi performances!

Fuji Japanese Restaurant in Haddonfield has been featured in both Zagat and the Philadelphia Inquirer for its popular and massive menu of Asian cuisine. One of my favorite restaurants to go to when I am in Philadelphia. The restaurant itself is beautiful – the ceiling and walls really make it special. Food is always delicious, especially the Toro sushi, which is melt in your mouth. The chicken curry Katsu is tasty and definitely big enough to share. Desserts were heavier - the sorbet trio is always a hit though. Also loved the sesame ice cream. Lots of yuppie couples on first dates!

Phenomenal dining experience whenever we go, and we try to go often! Can’t rave enough about the sushi/sashimi and other offerings. Have never had any dish that wasn’t superb!
