Toro, in Boston, helmed by James Beard Award-winning chef, Ken Oringer, serves delectable Spanish tapas dishes in its contemporary and charming restaurant. The tortilla Española with a kale, egg, potato and onion omelet and the Boquerón's white anchovies in vinegar and olive oil make excellent pintxos starters. Some of Toro's most vibrant and delectable tapas plates include the chicken empanada de pollo with charred tomato salsa, the salt cod fritter croquettes de Bacalao with tempura lemon rings and the asado de huesos roasted bone marrow with oxtail marmalade.     My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience last night at Sycamore celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We were greeted with warm smiles and 2 glasses of champagne by the owner, Brian. As non-drinkers, we kindly declined them but we were so thankful for the thoughtful gesture. We were sat down at our requested table to relive our first date which made for a special evening. Incredible service, delicious food, and romantic ambiance. We love Sycamore and can’t wait to come back again next year.

    Esteagon is one of our favorite Spanish restaurants in the USA. The tapas are always excellent. This time we had Jamon ibérico, Tortilla española, Gambas al ajillo, Grilled octopus, and Oxtail. For dessert we ordered a delicious Tarta de queso with berries. Out waiter did an outstanding job.

    Dali is a small family-run place. It is just a hidden gem in Sommerville. The food and service were outstanding, we could not have a better celebration of our 2 birthdays. We return to Dali every time we have a chance. Lovely place and very affordable.
