Restaurant Torre is located on the sixth floor of the new tower at Fondazione Prada’s Milan venue, designed by Rem Koolhaas with Chris van Duijn and Federico Pompignoli from architecture firm OMA.It appears, according to Koolhaas’s definition, as “a collage of pre-existing themes and elements”, combining works of art and design furniture. The restaurant is divided into two parts: the bar and the restaurant. The two spaces are characterized by a contrast between the large floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer an unprecedented view of the city of Milan, and the warm tones of the parquet, of the walnut carpentry work and the hemp panels that cover the walls.Torre’s menu is authentically Italian and draws on the best regional traditions, while the desserts offer a range of the great classics of Italian patisserie. A prestigious selection of wines from Italian and international labels completes the offer.

They chose the name of the restaurant together. “'La Societa'' is a democratic place: it doesn't matter who you are, what your thoughts or beliefs are. You enter 'La Società' and you are immediately an integral part of it, the empathy is immediate. Never just a guest, but the protagonist of a place." Andrea is the Chef. Experimentation, tradition, experience and creativity are the keys to his dishes. “La Società” is located between Porta Venezia and Piazza della Repubblica, in Milan, in via Panfilo Castaldi 19, a “food zone” that hosts numerous restaurants. The cuisine is in a contemporary - gourmet style and includes unusual combinations and exceptional raw materials. The location is elegant and welcoming. Three rooms in which background music and colors alternate. The wallpapers, which come from London, with their different patterns divide and distinguish the rooms.

Locale molto tranquillo e riservato nel centro di Milano. Ottimi servizio e gentilezza. Elegante senza essere ingessato. Materie prime fresche e ottimo connubio tra cucina italiana e giapponese. Prezzi abbastanza alti ma in linea con quelli del centro milanese e con la qualità del cibo e del locale. Una esperienza molto gradevole, siamo stati bene.

Selezione di vini eccellente, locale carino molto curato e finemente arredato. Situato in zona Tortona a pochi metri dalla metro verde. Antipasti e cibo nella media. Consigliato per un bel dopocena a milano accompagnato dal vino di cui sono professionisti sommelier

We are really happy about our experience here. Food was great, as well as drinks. The place is cool and curated, with an atmosphere that reminds me NY. It was not so crowded but, I guess, it’s pretty common due to the holidays.
