We enjoy this place. Pizza and salads are delish

We have been coming to the restaurant since its opening in 1998, me as recently as last October. We felt the kitchen has never been better. We shared anchovies with butter on toast, the spaghetti pomodoro (perfectly executed and still justifying its legend), the pesce del giornio (a 2 pound American snapper) and the insalata di campo (well sourced lettuces and on point dressing). An interesting red from Piemonte. Warm, well informed, attentive service. Still one of our very favorite restaurants anywhere. Will continue to be a highlight of any San Francisco visit. Already anticipating our next meal here.

The best artisan pizza and the best dough in all of the Bay. The friendly service, unique salads, special desserts and of course the variety of good wines made it a delectable experience.

BJ never lets us down. It is a sports bar with a big menu. The wait team are great, the food and drinks come quickly, the tables are comfortable and the restroom is clean. I had fish tacos and Cesar which were great. The prices have gone up a bit, probably to make a profit with rising prices everywhere. I enjoyed my evening.
