Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. A first time diner and the food, service and overall vibe was exquisite. Gabriel was our server and he was knowledgeable and attentive. They had the Christmas decor up and we literally cleared out plates. Apps, main course and dessert were excellent.

A perfect spot for a sophisticated, informal dinner. The chopped salads and brick oven pizzas work well together. Food preparation is consistently light and healthy. You can count on any dish ordered to be successful and delicious. Tables are spaced close together but this is nyc afterall.
