I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Shelanous is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable! Outstanding in every way from the moment you enter. There was clearly a lot of thought behind the restaurant. The room is lovely, tables set with linen. The room feels serene and luxurious. The food is superb, modern French with an Australian accent. Every dish was outstanding. Service is relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend a dinner at Malin. I look forward to a return visit.

Great selection of wines and excellent recommendation received from the manager, she is a real wine connoisseur.

Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.

Overall lovely experience at French Saloon. The front of house staff were lovely and very accommodating on the night! The food was also wonderful with the tartare and kingfish being standout dishes. Thanks for a wonderful experience team!
