Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980.     Excellent service from the time of arrival to departure. Cocktails (of which we had a few) were creative and delicious. The food was authentic Japanese and of the highest quality. We sat outside which allowed us to take in the hustle and Bustle of Spice Alley. A super enjoyable meal and experience and one we will be sure to do again in the not too distant future.

    We went on a Friday night, a group of 6. We chose our own courses, everything was amazing. The Chiefs selection sashimi was done of the best any of us had eaten. The cocktails and wines were fabulous. Even in a very busy restaurant the staff were incredibly attentive and the meals arrived at a nice pace. We will be back and highly recommend you visit.

    What a hidden delight in Haymarket. Walking in the door we felt as though we travelled to a bar in Europe or Japan. Fantastic bites, great selection of alcohol and the atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be back to try some whiskey.
